Great demonstration. As a beginner, my volunteers,are often critical thinkers. I can see such a huge difference between those and my fellow students, who are super intuitive, who sometime can put themselves into trance. Sooooooo... when I try this on a super concious thinking analyzing person... it wont work. Advice?

Rather than "will it work, or not," I suggest you shift your thinking to embrace that the effects of hypnosis are exponential and cumulative over time. All levels of hypnosis are created equal. Some people are those natural virtuoso subjects, but not all your clients have to be. I believe overtime, anyone can be conditioned to achieve this level of depth.
