Chelsea had a huge turnout, Milk Cup semi ‘85 at Roker, also FA Cup game in ‘92 I was a young lad in ‘85 and was in awe of them walking down Fulwell Rd in their escort from Seaburn station.

Good to see you again mate. Over in Cyprus just now with the family. Hard work but that’s what it’s all about. Next Two trips away is my turn. Pattaya for the World Cup for a few weeks then I’ll do the big one Jan/Feb or Feb/March in Thailand depending what work dictates. I’ll be home for the Rangers v Spurs game. Could be tasty .

I remember as a teen driving to sunderland...myself and 4 others.....we got into the roker end and the 5 of us took it... OK.....WE BROKE INTO ROKER END AT 10 AM....THE 5 OF US SANG CHELSEA ON THEIR ROKER TERRACE B4 BEING CHASED OUT BY SECURITY...HAHA

Can jason remember the blues brothers fanzine, bought them at Windsor before Linfield games and introduced me to Chelsea, never had much interest in the english teams until I read some of the exploits featured in that fanzine.

I was at both games home and away after the home game trouble everywhere sunderland gave as good as they got ,the away game there was roughly 1500 didn’t get in the ground me included all the Chelsea came to smash the buses up but sharped done a runner when they realised how many there was locked out and that’s the truth I was there.

Hes an alreeet guy . Yeh he and a fair few of his mates got it at roker fact . No lies just truth a nasty night before and after game It backfired on them . a week later in london went both ways 85 we won they won we won they won pends on who you talk to . I witnessed a few over those two games no books just truth we all lose sometimes i recon . But safc v chelsea 70s 80s was nasty as it gets most times we played .
