I'm taking a mental health day off. I never use sick time. I am mentally and physically spent today. Jason was the first thing I came in the living room and put on the TV. I just discovered him a couple years ago when a friend invited me to use her extra ticket to see him!! He was in Cincinnati at a brand new outdoor music venue. It was a beautiful summer night. Such an awesome night. Everything is open lawn. It's a very small intimate place. So for the first time I was introduced to him I was leaning on the stage at his feet and I was hooked! There was a couple who were clearly in love right next to us enjoying every second. I was taking pictures and completely immersed, and the next thing you know this young man beside me, during his favorite song, holding his girlfriend.... drops to his knees and proposes to her!!❤💕 They meant for the very first time years ago at one of Jason's concerts, so it was only fitting!! Jason took their request play another one of their favorite songs. Cincinnati was filled with love as we all celebrated! 🎉 So, today, as I heal my spirits a bit, I needed Jason's energy, too. I'm 52 and I plan to stay close to all of his work. *I loved him on DWTS, too!! I'm finally post-divorce, and my life is about to change tremendously. Jason's energy inspires me everyday. Just to keep going!

Maaan it's been more than a decade but M's songs are just beautiful and inspiring! The first actual song that I heard from him was a KZbin upload with the song (Life is beautiful). I still vividly remember my highschool friends using boombox every lunchtime to play some of his songs and even play the guitar with it. We felt like a highschool musical parody and giggled but still did it anyways since to us, his songs are the best!

This is such a beautiful song. I love what he is saying :) I knew Jason when we both went to open mic night at Java Joes in Ocean Beach (I read slam poetry style then lol) --even when we were just hanging out he always had a guitar in his hands. I'm so glad all his dreams came true! I didnt know but just saw he won 2 Grammys--amazing! Im so pleased for him! And for all of his fans also because his music is very uplifting :)
