Oh Jason.....I love you and have for many, many years and been to countless numbers of shows. I understand wanting to change things up a bit....but my honest opinion....this just isn't you. I'm sorry. You probably don't hear that kind of criticism from your fans....but all I could think of while watching was how awkward it looked and I felt uncomfortable wondering where 'my' Jason went. ❤

@@rci385 I wasn't looking at it relative to any 'flaws'...I suppose the performance itself was flawless. I was in no way criticizing his ability to perform. It's just that I have been watching and listening to him for years and this song/routine was so outside what I consider the 'norm' for Jason that it made it feel awkward to me. It was just too different. I don't know how ' to say it.....ummm....think of someone you know who is always relaxed, very down to earth, and wears comfy clothing. They suddenly decide to wear a formal Tuxedo with tails (aka 'penguin suit') and dance a waltz. It's not that the tux/waltz aren't perfect....it's just that the person looks awkward and out of place wearing/doing it. Hope that makes sense.
