Came back to this and listening in 2024. I gave up on a serious relationship as I chose to fully focus on my medical degree during university 4 years ago. There was a lot going on for me academically... and the fact that I came from a not so wealthy family, my degree and career meant everything to me. I did not allow myself to have the luxury of listening to my feelings for a girl. Then 3 years later, when my dad got drunk and called me an idiot for not respecting my feelings for the girl. I realised I was really a idiot. But now I still regret nothing cuz my choice paid off and introduced me to a whole new fancy world. Just hope everyone is well and thriving, don't give up ever on the dreams.
