9 years later I'll write ✍️ a comment. Jason Newsted is a good person and definitely put up with a lot by being in Metallica. There is absolutely 💯 no excuse why Metallica treated him like trash for no reason. I don't want to hear that Metallica treated Jason awful because of Cliff Burton death 😢 that's no excuse...Metallica were just plain and simple assholes to Jason. Cliff rip

Jason Newsted is the man, he left Metallica on his own accord and me being a Metallica fan, I thought he was a dickhead. But actually looking into why he did, I have a lot more respect for him, wicked bass guitar player and driven. Have to respect a man who leave's the biggest band in the world to start his own shit, and his new band is awesome, been listening to it flat out, can't wait to see his band at Soundwave 2014! That chick is hot.
