Fifteen years of putting up with this shit? He’s my hero. He endured just to make his dream come true. They hated him just because they saw that people loved him. They thought fans would hate him for having to replace Cliff and they didn't. He was the most loved and the one who had the most connection with the fans. They hated that. Jason Newsted is a good person . He’s a nice guy. And he’s an awesome bass player.

Not really at all why they hated him. They never really HATED him in general. They just took all their grief and frustration of losing Cliff out on Jason because they didn't know how to handle it properly. Jason was the target for the sadness and anger bullets the rest of the band shot

Depends on what you're looking for. In terms of technique he is probably the weakest between Cliff, Rob and himself. However his energy and all, I personally feel he fitted Metallica the best, while really not wanting anyone to forget how important the others are/were.
