I really understand why Jason left the band, he was always treated as the new guy and he was never "part" of Metallica like James and Lars, even they treat Kirk as the replacement of Dave till this day. That sucks, and you can see it here 0:21 It was a joke but still, I think for them Metallica has only two leaders. They never saw it as a group where each one of them has the similar value. Still a legendary band tho.

@@Kikxto Honestly, Metallica’s peak were the best years of my life. I was 14 y/o when I saw my first Metallica show (back when Dave was their lead). I still have my Master of Puppets vinyl that I got signed by Cliff during their Damage Inc tour. I keep it in a frame, since it’s the only thing that I managed to get signed by Cliff before the accident. He was a legend, saw him live about six times, talked to him twice. Miss the guy 🤘
