It’s an eclipse, that’s the “mirage” in moon mirage. The sun is behind the moon creating the “flames”. To back this up, going all crystal mode allows you to be a type you normally aren’t. If I had to guess, while it’s true that all or almost all Umbreon cards have a Moon in the artwork, since there is already a very famous Moonbreon, you need a unique name for this one so it can be iconic and go to the Moon. Bubble Mew, Sunzard, Moonbreon, they’ve all gone to the Moon. I would have gone with Crownbreon but the collective (dumb) masses seem to have decided its name. I’ll never call it that. 🤷🏼‍♂️
