This is the first time I’ve actually ever watched any of Sam’s part. What Sam said is valid-she has been the only one raising Danny. But then again she should know Jason better. I hope when the truth comes out as to why Jason has been away and why he did what he did including asking Danny to keep quiet (less people knowing the better), everyone will understand that Jason has not ever change who he is. He’s always been someone who protects those he loves. His mom understands and Monica isn’t even his biological mom. That says a lot.

Did I miss something why all of a sudden Sam is acting like she hates Jason. This is so unlike her character. I mean I never cared for them being together but that Sam would never treat Jason this way. For her to believe that Jason would shoot Dante instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt was completely unwarranted. Then in this scene she's treating him like a dead beat Dad. I know he's not father of the year or anything but it's so unlike Sam to talk him that way.

To be fair did you forget how they left things. She was grappling with whether or not Jason was safe to be around from back during when Brit was still alive. Hell one of the defining factors of why she got with Dante was because he was safe. She wanted to distance her self from the life. And she wanted to distance herself even more when she found out Jason and Carly were getting married and the reasons why. When he "died" she didn't have to deal with those feelings anymore. Now she does.

@@dentechcity … the writers had Sam throw Jason away on an excuse of safety only to follow Dante into numerous dangerous situations… Sam is a hypocrite and liar and changing men comes very easy to her… LOL she’s slept with almost every male in Dante’s family, not to mention Jason, Patrick, lucky and all the men she cheated while she was a cheap grifter. Sam has no right to trash Jason on any level.

@@darc2406 well remember Dante. I feel this was the direction it was always going to go if COVID didn't halt the storyline. They had really set the stage for Jax Britt and Sam to just hate The fact Carly and Jason were getting married for the reasons they were getting married. I remember there was a clip of Sam talking to her mom and legitimately thinking about whether or not Jason's lifestyle worked for her anymore since she had two kids that she genuinely had to think about; and she was still on parole for the whole Shilo thing. Jason "died" and she paused the thought now he came back and he's arrested for Dante's shooting and potential murder. I think this is valid

⁠@@oldtimeywimeysoaps2 we already know that the FBI was blackmailing him, that they basically forced him to work for them or else there be RICO charges - all that evidence would crumple Sonny’s organization and end up implicating a lot of people in Port Charles, including people like Sam and Liz who knows what Sonny does. Jason was forced to stay away to basically protect everyone. And sure, Sam doesn’t know that so I get her being angry, but we the fans at least know Jason didn’t just disappear, that he was kidnapped and basically forced to stay away.

Sam has never been sweet… she was a grifter who lured in rich men and then cheated them out of their money, she has slept with so many members of the same family it’s disgusting, she tried to destroy Ethan who was falsely accused by Kristina (and was actually protecting her) and never apologised for almost completely ruining his life and she trashed Jason about being too dangerous to be around the kids yet she’s spent years chasing Dante into every dangerous situation possible. The writers had brilliant chemistry between Jason and Sam but destroyed all of their history and did it on purpose.
