I’m a younger fan but was lucky enough to see them on this tour. 2011 I think? The show was amazing, however as we left the city the local radio station talked about the show and then played a little song called “Red Barchetta” my head fuckin exploded. The show was amazing but to hear this song I never heard before from a band who just blew my mind 20 minutes previously as we drove back home wow. I realized right then I wanna quit sports and be a musician full time. What a memory and pivotal moment of my youth. As my friends absorbed the techno, SoundCloud rap and metalcore, I was obsessed with rock n roll and That little moment was almost better than the show itself. It solidified my passion for playing music And made me Ditch my fears and pursue it. I’ll always remember that. R.I.P. NEIL.

I watch this a few times a month to get a good natured giggle before I start the day. All the "acting" is so natural - I feel like a fly on the wall watching a backstage attempt to meet the guys' favorite band. Rush are natural performers in every aspect and I'd like to think they enjoyed participating in this skit. What a bonus! "That sign, is for like Roadies and stuff, OK?" Dude! I don't think Tom Sawyee would think that's ok either. LOL

I’m one of the lucky men who is married to one of those female Rush fans. I’ve seen Rush on every tour since Permanent Waves in 1980 and never missed a tour following that. My wife had been going to Rush concerts since the Presto tour and that was before I knew her. We have been to every tour together since Counterparts. the last tour we saw was Clockwork Angles and we will sadly never see them love again. I know how rare female Rush fans are, so I know how lucky I am to be married to one.

you can say that for a lot of bands from our era brother, when I was a kid they first came out and all my metal head friends would mock them and me for liking them, don`t care I`v seen them 11 times and loved every show

This brings back memories. I got to see them on this tour and it is the only time I did. I was 19 and I played bass and I lived rush and was so happy to see them. I was a little boy in a small ontario town. My buddy and I would go to this railhouse. it was a train station and restaurant and there was an arcade room. there was a corner store across the street as well where you could get cheap and awesome sandwiches. i must have been 9 years old. one day this guy came up the service road with a buddy. they stopped in and we guarded their bikes. I talked with the one man for about 45 minutes because he was on a bicycling adventure. I remember the red panier bags he had on the sides of his wheels. I talked to the man about hiking on the bruce trail and the small town and bikes and he told me about some of his cycling adventures. then came the mind blowing moment. While we were talking music came a subject. I started playing guitar for about a year. I told him a " one time....." story where i put all of my raffle tickets into a brown paper bag at my school to win a record "and all the grade 8's were cheering when i won". He asked me what the record was and I said " Rush Archives". The man was Neil Peart.

That’s so great you got a chance to talk with Neil for quite a while! What town did you grow up in? What train station and restaurant? I’m wondering if I might have biked in that area when I lived in Ontario.
