The mee6 bot is super glitchy and kept on ruining my discord's appearance for new members. Half of the would leave within minutes. I had to turn off that application and now just use it for welcome messages which discord can do by itself. I can't imagine paying premium for it.

yeah, I haven't used that bot in agers as started to develop my own bot for my own server. I noticed people don't like agreeing to the rules with the bot so I stopped using it for that as well.

I moved my Rules channel and MEE6 bot stopped working. I’ve gone through the set up again, but now get this message “Whoops, it looks like I can't give one of the roles listed here. Please fix that by putting my role above all the roles listed here.” I checked and MEE6 has manage roles. Any ideas. I’m not super Discord savvy and no one can join my server right now until I fix this (or remove it)! Thanks.

Mine still didn't work. It just automatically set to New Joiner but when I liked ✅ the rules it didn't set my alt account the new role to enter the server.

So for anyone who is having the problem of mee6 not giving the role after said member reacts to the message here is a solution: First off make sure Mee6 has the permission to manage roles Secondly Rearrange the Hierarchy (or roles list) make sure that Mee6 is higher on the list than the said role that is being assigned to the member upon reaction to the message by doing this it gives Mee6 more server authority: Example: Admin (Moderators and staff) Member (Role being assigned upon reaction) Mee6 everyone In this example above Mee6 is positioned below the role being assigned as a result it will not grant the role upon reaction Admin (Moderators and staff) Mee6 Member (Role being assigned upon reaction) everyone In this example above Mee6 is positioned above the role being assigned as a result it will grant the role upon reaction
