this is a masterpiece by Jason Becker, The God of Guitar
@einarabelc59 ай бұрын
Stop using God name in vain, it's blasphemy that brings destruction from God. Jason is sick, and mortal and human and that's a good thing. You know what gods are in the Bible? Elohim, that is angels and demons. Stop worshiping the creation and look upon the God that made Jason. As for suffering, He sure let us know it's not because He's far and out of Love. Because Jesus died a physical death and was crushed by the Father on that cross for your and me. All for you to insult Him by calling this simple mortal creature a god. You don't even reflect on what you're talking about.

After reading the history of this man and seeing some video of his performing days, I never take for granted my musical ability, my equipment, or my practice time...it really is a privilege to be able to play an instrument...of all people to be afflicted with this at such a young age....for me being able to play my guitar is equivalent to Christmas morning as an 8 year old...it never gets old or tiresome,and when the burst of inspiration and creativity comes along it's an almost out of body journey....Jason had it all as a guitar player and fortunately for him he found his talent at a young age and took it to the limit...it would have been tragic for him to have not discovered or developed it....he got everything out of music that he could hope for

As you can hear he writes truly remarkable and some of the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard. This piece of music is like the guitar is crying and singing a melody of optimism and hope and encouraging fellow humans to never stop loving music . But also to always be good and kind too

Jason Becker was a great guitar player and a great composer, because of his illness he can't play anymore but he can still write and compose music which other guitar players plays the guitar parts, in this track we can hear and see the talents of Michael Lee Firkins, i rest my case, thanks!

That intro with delay... the bass pedal part and then the main riff... 1984... extremely young. That's exactly why he is the giant he is, watching that for the first time in that year must had been almost like a religious experience

Lmao, it was probably Yngwie, if you think outside, and use your guitar melody with many vocal inflections, and accentuations (E.g. ▪ J.Becker, S.Vai, P.Gilbert, R.Kotzen... etc.) then he (He really did say this in the past.) has been known to critisize the music as being 'Out of Tune!' Instead of continuing to grow & learn. He has been known to be... 'A Drama Diva!' Lmao... I guess 'J.S Bach' is as far as ANYONE needs to advance... ...smh, fuckN Malnsteen.

I saw the live performance where Marty Friedman played this with an orchestra in San Francisco, back in maybe 2002. I know there's a video of it out there somewhere because two guys in the audience were taping. They were students at GIT and I'd met them a year prior at the Cacophony reunion/Q&A at the El Cerrito Guitar Center. Always wished I kept in touch with those guys. Happy new year, Jason and family.
