since it is on the plastic/rubber material I would use isopropyl but use sparingly and be careful not to over do it it should come off fairly easily. I did that with my 3's that got stained by the cloth...

So glad you mention the maroon towel bleeding into the shoe itself because on my Jordan 3s the towel bleed into the tissue paper and the inside of the box as well I’m glad I saw it as soon as I open the box for the first time and just like u said I immediately took it off and out
