He's back. I tried using grid and the circle method but I ended up failing. I'm so use to free hand that my drawing looks better with free hand, it's the shading I have issues with.

It's great to know your weakness and strengths. You seem to be great at drawing the face outlines. And since the issue is shading, you'll have to spend a few more practice sessions to master it

You talked me😭 with the Last one,(not shading enough,)I am good in others, but when it comes to shading I will not like to spend time,I just shade little,and depend on the blending tool to help me finish it, I am always fast to blend, while I have not added enough layers But from now I will try and build up enough layers, before blending Thank you very much bro 👊🌟🥰
@JasonLegendaryArt2 жыл бұрын
And jeriah, shading a little longer would really help to give your drawing depth. Maybe you can set a time for yourself, you can finish a drawing until you've reached so so hours. 😉 👍

For drawing hair, I usually draw a rough outline of the hair and give a base shade. I go back with the pencil, eraser, and blending stick and I just repeat the process until I get the perfect texture. I add highlights with the eraser as well :)

The Hard Lines? Try to be aware of of enforcing lines when you draw. If you actually see lines there, add it. If you don't, use shading and tones to add separation instead.

I didn't like shading or drawing an open mouth or drawing hair too lol but one day, I sat down and thought that I'll never learn to draw them if I didn't start now. I started and though it's hard, I'm making progress and it's low-key fun, too😅 Oh, and I don't like drawing with pencils. I don't know why but it's been that way since I was little. When I started drawing again this year, I started with a pencil but the body remembers so I'm stuck using a ballpoint. Is that bad? Or do I try using a pencil for a change?

mistake number 1 isnt always correct, i have been a car artist mainly putting 100-150 hours in a drawing and from the beginning of my art career when i was 2 years old i have never ever used any guidelines, any sketching or any reference lines or circles. i immediately start with what will stay as a line and work on from there, always just see the line mathematically, looking at its curvature, its thickness and length and how the radius changes. it has worked out for me ever since and last week i finally started drawing a person, i think i have played through the car drawing chapter by now and need a new challenge, so i started with a harry potter charcoal drawing (also my first time ever using charcoal or making a realistic greyscale drawing) and the sketch before shading is done and looks exactly right in my opinion, and with faces wrong things immediately stand out anyway
