About 10 years+ ago, Western world said, the Globalization is good.. in fact, Globalization is deindustrialization. A country with NO industry, it just can't make thing for selling. they can only sell their service.. With massive digitalization, the manufacturing becomes more advanced, and those deindustrialized countries missed the gap in high tech manufacturing.. It is amazing that, China industrialization is changing the world, with such a short period of time, from low value textile industry to sending robot to the Moon. Awesome introduction of China's industrial equipment. To answer Jason's question: how many elephants are that behemoth excavator's weight equivalent to? Well, the largest adult land animals on Earth, the African Elephants, can weigh between 5,000 and 14,000 pounds. That excavator truck weighs about 1000 tons. 1 ton = 2,000 pounds. We can do some simple math to figure out how many adult African Elephants are in 1000 tons. 1 ton × 2,000 pounds per ton = 2,000,000 pounds. The lower bound: 2,000,000 pounds ÷ 14,000 pounds ≈ 143: upper bound: 2,000,000 pounds ÷ 5,000 pounds = 400. So, the answer to Jason's question is: depending on the weight of the African Elephant, the weight of that behemoth excavator truck, which is 1,000 tons, is equivalent to 143 to 400 adult African Elephants. For other people, the crane in this video that can lift 150 tons is pretty impressive, but is just a fraction of the strongest crane the Chinese ever made. The strongest crane the Chinese ever made, also the strongest crane in the world, has a safe work load of 20,000 metric tons (approximately 22,046 U.S. tons). That's really impressive. Isn't it?! Ascending to 70+ meters above the ground in that enormous crane must have been an adrenaline-inducing experience. I wish I'm there too! 😄 How did you get them to agree to let you get on the crane? Did you tell them that you are a very popular KZbinr and that the video will showcase their mighty equipment to viewers around the world? 😄 Thanks for sharing!
