Old A's skatepark is pretty fun. Looks like the fixed it up a bit since I was there last a couple years ago. My little brother lives in Ocean view.

Yup...welcome to Big Island. Our counties do next to nothing for our youth. As far as Parks and Rec. The kailua Kona bowl was funded almost entirely by donations. Along with years of petitions. Kona park use to have a bunch of other wood ramps, but county/state tore it down . Did you make it to Hawi, or Honokaa? Waikoloa? Get concrete parks there also. And also mostly community funded. Hit me up next time u here.

Sad that Kona has the worst park on Big Island. We have so much space at Old A’s, and the junk park cost $5 million!! Freaking hippies in Pahoa have a better park. Waikaloa has a better park and only ten locals live there. Chris Senn lives in Kona and we apparently can’t do better??! The flat roller rink is better to skate in.
