I’m glad you got to Roots on a dry day. That was my favorite park on the island. That pyramid with the hip, rail, and ledge is one of the best features I’ve ever skated… no joke!

My 1st trip to Hawai’i, as a teen, you could still drive *all* around the island - there were already lava flows but they hadn’t really approached the road yet, but the ground was ‘steaming a bit’ shall we say.. early 80s.
