Yeah, Any new ship I unlock through Expeditions I haven't "claimed" them yet from the QuickSilver area yet. 1 I wasn't sure how many starships you could have but i knew there was a limit just like Multi-tools

really wish they would allow us to have a space ship warehouse or museum, keep more ships... but only 10 can be active at a time that you can call in missions without going back and swapping. something like that. heck doing it that way, they can have fewer active at a time to compensate.

​@Lilsquimb learned recently it IS 12, but keeping 10 is probably normal so you have slots for swapping/upgrading to new ships or to keep one for scrapping/aelling.

Even though it is a Starborn Runner clone it doesn't have the Photonix Core tech module installed. Luckily I have spares. I just thought it was odd that it didn't have it.

Thought the same thing and was one of the main reasons I did the Omega redux expedition just for the Photonix Core for all my current ships and to have some spares. Cost me 60,000 nanites for all of them but was worth it!

i think if you make a steam account you can get it with the cross save function because it is a free dlc and you dont need to have the game purchased, but i dont know

They occasionally have a free play weekend so if you don't own nms on steam you could claim during free play then transfer the save to your console.

I’m on Xbox One and got the ship today after I got hime from work, I just used the NMS Service App, it was listed under ship delivery. I am a patron (subscribed through Patreon) though I’m not sure if that’s required on the App for this particular ship.

@@RathaRider You don't need to buy the game. You can claim even if you don't own it. If you do have to buy it, you can also refund it as soon as you're done (assuming done within 2 hours) Also it's currently $23.99 in the US, £20 in the UK, not sure about other places

When I want to compare or line up my ships for a screen shot, etc., I always chose a snowy planet with fair weather, during the day, so I get the best representations of the ships' colors. 8-)

On PC, I'm missing the Collect Special Rewards option. If I try to add the ship to my account through Steam, it just launches the game. Not sure if that's an indication that there's an issue or not. Edit: I got it to work by going to the free ship's store page by searching the store, versus using the shortcut by selecting it in my library.

If you’re on PC and can’t find the dlc purchase window on the store page like Jason’s shows, try going to the mobile app, library, click nms, open the hamburger menu which brings up game info, DLC, etc menus. It’s under DLC. Had to do it for mine, would not appear on pc or my steamdeck.

You won’t miss out on it if you claimed it using the same steam account you use for playing the game. It’s bound to your steam account 👍

Yet I have gotten the Starborn Phoenix today after I got home from work. I simply used the NMS Service App and it was listed under Ship Delivery 😏

How to get your Starborn Phoenix on other platforms: 1. Make sure that "Cloud Saves are enable" 2. Load up NMS via Steam 3. Claim the ship from the Quicksilver Companion (verify you have the ship) 4. Save the game 5. While still in NMS on Steam, load a cloud save from your console 6. Claim the ship from the Quicksilver Companion (verify you have the ship)

A couple of things for everyone below decrying "PC elitism," or other crap, Microsoft and Sony require your updates and DLCs to be fully tested by them before the uodates/DLCs are made live. That is why it's usually a few days to a week before we see them. (I was an indie dev on Xbox 360 and One, I have gone through it myself.) Secondly, while it has not fully implemented for this update, do go through the steps to enable cross-save on your account. When the update does get pushed, it's one less thing to worry about.

Before you get mad that it's steam only don't forget that consoles have exclusive items also plus with cross save you can still transfer it to console, don't nms on steam? Wait for a free play event and do it then. There are options, just need to be patient.
