I owned a lefty LTD Viper. Great guitar. It only makes sense for a guitar designed like this to have 24 frets.

Agree, was looking for something NOT a Strat, Tele, or LP and ran into a barn-find Viper-50 that I couldn't say "no" to. Thinning the herd now so I can upgrade from the entry level Viper...

7:29 While I get your point, I’m pretty sure you’d have to change the strings several times playing a full tour

Possibly. But I play 2-3 live acoustic shows a week, many which are outdoors (in the Florida humidity), and most are 4-hour shows. I probably change strings once every 3-4 weeks in the summers with Elixirs.

Haha I loved the jump scare of the 3 LTD guitars at the start of the video. I do gotta say dude. The Viper model looks so killer. It was awesome having you in shop as always man!

Very relaxed review guys, great job🤘 If the strings are too high on that SG shape, that might have dropped the output a little bit, but definitely geared to a different vibe/style of playing. Anytime my Epiphone SG comes out, I have to play some Black Sabbath - usually Ironman 🤘 Love my LTD Deluxe 1000, mine has SD Sentient and Pegasus in see through purple burst. It just wants to chug 🤘🤘. Only one nit pick and that's the shape of the headstock if you keep it in a guitar stand that holds the headstock - it slowly loosens the locking screw on the low E each time you take it in/out. I've got Fishman Fluence in another guitar and they definitely scream 🤘🤘 If the opportunity presents itself, would love to see you checkout some 7 strings please 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Yeah, was excited to see the XJ-1 because I love the shape of a Fender Jazzmaster but hate all the knobs and switches... Reached out to ESP to see if they're planning an entry level model of the XJ-1 ($1,500 not in the budget right now...) or any different colors, they told me nothing planned but keep an eye out for announcements around NAMM time...

I'm considering buying a Les Paul shaped guitar. What do you think about using Les Paul for rock or metal playing? (It has emg81/85 pickup)
@jasonstallworth3 ай бұрын
It’s all personal preference. I like the Strat style guitars and ones with thinner necks. You have to play several to see what suits you best

I almost bought that viper last week, but when I checked the specs and saw fishman fluence I said PASSSS. It would have been cooler with Seymour Duncans.
@jasonstallworth8 ай бұрын
I personally prefer passive pickups and would probably go with Duncans as well

Out of those 3 guitar bodies the most I liked is Jason’s body. It has a nice cut to the edges. Hahaha joke. I also liked the M-1000 most. Is the bending possible by turning the tuning pegs though? Or even so does it feel different to normal bending on other guitars?
@jasonstallworth8 ай бұрын
Yeah I prefer the MH1000 style. I'm not sold on the Evertune though. I would more than likely get one with a Floyd

The Metal riffs are cool,guys, but CLEAN?,guys? CLEAN tones? Please? Push/pull on a Fishman Fluence only gives you another voicing not really a Fender “quack”. Greg Koch puts Fishman Fluences in his signature guitars. They’ve got “ huevos”. The Epiphone Prophecy line has them as well. LTD is the “poor man’s ESP”. StepnniemBradlet
