Hello there, again. :) My husband's studio includes a pair of Samson Resolv 6 speakers, and an M-Audio Keystation 88 because he writes a lot of the sound-beds we use for the station we work at (he has a Saturday shift and a regular day-job selling sound equipment, actually). He uses Mark of the Unicorn software; he came right up through with them rather than ProTools, so he's stuck with them for that reason. He also has several virtual instrument programs. I'm not sure off the top of my head what his current mic is, but he had a Sennheiser 441 a few years back. I'm sure there's a wishlist. lol

It's really cool because I've been learning about signal processing and such in one of my classes, so it's awesome to see how exactly stuff like that is applied :D

I know next to nothing about sound but have started dabbling: I have questions! Why mic-pre-amp-audio Interface-to computer? If you went from Mic to computer what do you lose? I appreciate to content and have thoroughly enjoyed your voice acting (even beyond Clone wars!)

Pre amps are a professional way to enhance the true essence of the mic. It’s an essential part of a pro studio. That said... most audio interfaces have pretty decent ones built in nowadays as well.

Jeremy Pommier I use a wired remote via usb made by presonus and I like that better than the iPad controls for pro tools. I found them to not always work great and so since my booth is not far from the control room console I just run a long usb cable with the controller. Thx!
