good intro into IJ, for those who we have years using another IDEs, learn these things fast save us a lot of time (and anxiety!) and the interaction/responsibility between each framework and plugins

This needs to be updated. The project file is no longer the same, the version of intellij is different such that the link to customize is not the same, and the live-reload plugin is outdated and does not work. There's so many rabbit holes due to this being outdated that it's consumed 2-3x as much time to get through than what it really should, and it extends frustration onto the learner.

This is really good, no excellent in fact. I subscribe to the Jetbrains tools and use IntelliJ often but I learnt some new things! You should do a tips on using IntelliJ with Vaadin focus tutorial. Thank you for this video series.

I'm glad to hear that. I've actually been in touch with the developer relations people over at JetBrains to see if we could do a joint webinar or video on IntelliJ productivity tips, especially for those working on web apps.

The number of beans implementing 'I18NProvider' is 0. Cannot use Spring beans for I18N getting this error while trying to run in debug mode

That should be an INFO message, and something that was fixed a while back: github.com/vaadin/flow/issues/3676. Can you check which version of Vaadin you are on (pom.xml)?

Current project not support java corretto 11. Instead, you should install java corretto 21 for run correctly.

Hello, great video. Everything was easy to follow and I am excited to use Vaadin. My only issue is that when I run the main method in order to download the dependencies, I get an error like this: java: error reading C:\Users\thebr\.m2 epository\org\webjars\bowergithub\vaadin\vaadin-element-mixin\2.4.2\vaadin-element-mixin-2.4.2.jar; zip file is empty I am not sure what zip file is being referenced in this error message, but I checked the folder and the ..ar file exists. I would appreciate help on this.

It sounds like your maven cache may have become corrupted. You can try to delete your entire .m2/repository/org/webjar folder and have it re-download stuff.

@@vaadinofficial This solution worked perfectly. In fact, I noticed that within another portion of the error message, there was an option to go exactly to the location where the .jar file existed and when clicked, a notification that the .jar file was corrupted appeared. Thanks so much, this helped a lot.

It sounds like your IntelliJ may be using an older Java version. Please check this article and if needed the earlier video on installing Java 11 dev.to/techgirl1908/intellij-error-java-release-version-5-not-supported-376
