As they have released new mobs, they have slowly made their animations more like the ones seen in this mod, the only problem is that it makes the game quality unimaginably inconsistent, since older mobs still have their old animations, it really makes the new mobs they add to the game stick out like a sore thumb, and I think they should either make the new mobs animations look like standard simple Minecraft animations, or update the old mobs to have more animation.

I mean most of why Minecraft is popular is because of compability, if this was added, the storage for mobile users would skyrocketed and you need a mid range 2022+ phone to even run this on 30fps. You also need an 8th gen Intel CPU atleast which is probably not a problem for PC users though but the current playerbase would definitely go down and new players who have a decent device might go up but simplicity is one of Minecraft's appeal imo

@@heramaaroricon4738 it can sometimes, especially on a large simulation game like Minecraft where it's generated via chunks not scripted or pre-animated ones, sure one mob being animated would barely have a performance issue but multiple ones that spawn on every randomized generated chunk the player is near on can be demanding on lower end devices, being a texture pack like this one instead of a coded animation data would be less demanding but it'll still impact performance since the textures would constantly be changing real time, even the ones who are not visible to the player

One thing the RP creator might have overseen is that Vindicators are keeping their arms together with axes hidden and are bringing them out to catch you off-guard. In their pack it's just him walking without any axe, and when approached, he just aquires it out of nowhere.

It's a shame you didn’t show all the mobs or the addons, the Classic Horses addon makes the horses even better. Fresh Animations adds so much more life into the game, I can't play Minecraft without it. I feel bad for abandoning my Bedrock world, but the game feels so lifeless after playing with Fresh Animations XD

Yes, Minecraft looks the way it does as a deliberate style choice. There is no doubt a lot of thought put into how much complexity the devs include for each new mob and animation and where to draw the line to preserve the charm of the original style.

Good news for Bedrock players! There's an add-on resource pack coming similar to this called Actions & Stuff, which you can look up the trailer for it. The page to download it is currently unavailable because it's still a WIP but when it's ready we'll finally get a slice of the good stuff like our Java and Vanilla counterparts!

Minecraft is clunky by design. It's not supposed to have more detail, it's supposed to imply detail as bait for the players to fill in the gaps with their imagination. It's psychologically captivating to the human mind and fits perfectly with the sandbox play style. It's nothing to do with lack of work, and in fact it's very VERY well thought out. Minecraft is a sandbox game. The devs are not there to GIVE you the spark and life that it lacks, they give you the tools and the blank canvas for you to build it yourself. There is a reason Minecraft is made out of blocks and not just a normal unreal engine 4 Skyrim-looking ripoff
