Good video, you taught me more about SceneBuilder in 20 minutes than I’ve learned in the last several months. I seem to be having an issue with the automated connection between a SceneBuilder fxml file and the controlling class. I use IntelliJ as my IDE, and normally, when I click on the controller option in SceneBuilder, it gives me a drop down with the name of my controller class. I select it, then save the file, and after that, lets say I create Class level declarations for my JavaFX controls (Button btnOK; as one example) then after I create those declarations in my controller, normally I can just go back to SceneBuilder and click on each control and go to the code banner, then click in the fx:id field and it will automatically be populated with the names of the controls I declared in the controller class. But for some reason, its not doing that anymore ... is there a place in Scene Builder where perhaps that feature was somehow disabled and I can just re-enable it?

I wonder why scenebuilder just freezes for a moment (solid 5 seconds) everytime i right click on element. App just stop responding and then show context menu. It makes really annyiong if i have to remove couple of things.

1) First Save the File 2) Refresh your project so the IDE reloads the .fxml 3) Go on View->Show Sample Controller Class and copy the needed code :)

Hi, this isn't really a tutorial. It's just random clicking in the UI. You're not actually teaching anything about the stage, scene or MVC UIs. Also, IMO you should say at the start what you are trying to achieve in this tutorial. So what I as a viewer would learn by watching this. TBH I learned nothing watching this I couldn't have already learned by clicking around in scenebuilder myself.
