I Almost Missed Pulling Arlecchino... [Genshin Impact]

Arlecchino is finally in Genshin Impact and I almost completely missed her banner. I just got back from a trip to Japan and saw that her banner only had a couple of days left, so with there being a lot of hype around this character, I had to pull for her and her weapon.
In addition, we tackle all the new content in the most recent update, including Arlecchino's story quest, and the Sea of Bygone Memories, meaning we have now finally finished everything there is to do in Fontaine (again). We then tried to build Arlecchino as much as we could, test her damage, and even step foot into the Spiral Abyss (for about 5 minutes).

Tartaglia does indeed fight himself for his drops. Wanderer (if he counts) fights himself as well. Cappuccino really just follows the trend in this regard.

I've been using Arlecchino overload for everything since her release and she just tears through everything. The only enemy that Arlecchino struggles with is grass. Touching grass is lethal.

im so glad u got arlecchino pronunciation in the end lol - italian words are definetly pronounced weird to non-speakers. tartaglia's the next one to work on! the g is silent, as it is in signora, so its pronounced tar-tah-lia (even tho the va himself mispronounces it...) also, tartaglia and wanderer both fight their own weekly boss for talent materials :)

Until you get pieces for the new artifact set, Arlecchino's best option is Gladiator set. And so far every playable Harbinger needs their own drops. As far as this Abyss goes, I'd say it's the hardest one we've had since the one with the three Harolds in 12-1. And if memory serves I think the Baptist was in that one too.

I would strongly recommend against farming the new artifact if you have good Gladiator pieces from playing for a long time, spending over 4000 resin will not get you better stats than your gladiators so that 10% extra damage from the set is not worth it

Fun fact about the pronounciation of Arlecchino's name: the reason the "ch" is read as a "k" is because Arlecchino is an italian word, more specifically the name of a folklore figure that is typical of carnival. Other Fatui Harbingers follow the same logic such as Pulcinella (another italian folklore figure) or Dottore (the italian translation of "doctor"). In Italian "ch" is always followed by a vowel and is always pronounced "k".

Italian speaker here, cappuccino and arlecchino are not pronounced the same way because of the h. The former does not have an h, which causes the "cc" to be pronounced like the "ch" in which. The latter has an h, which causes the "cch" to be a harsher sound, more like a k. Cheers!

for context on how strong Arle is: my level 80, C0 Arlecchino on Gladiator (which is 10% worse than the BoL set) with 51 EM and 8-7-7 talents, can Vape her normal attacks for 100K (granted it's with near 1000 EM Kazuha, C6 Bennett with Aquilla, and Yelan with Elegy)
