Idk what to tell you, it’s just like this for me: as soon as I settle down in a plane seat, train seat or in the back of a car, I just get sleepy 😂 and yeah sure, it’s not the most comfortable (especially planes), but I just put on some music and then my eyes start closing immediately lmao (except when I’m invested in reading a book or something, long train rides are honestly so nice for that, really relaxing) Ps: my neck and back do hurt from sleeping in a shitty plane seat for hours yesterday (just got home then), but falling asleep there is like a reflex or something at this point haha (personally I struggle more with noises and my own brain activity, but when I’m out, I’m out)

in 2023, i went to japan with my two older sisters, my brother in law, my brother in law's siblings and one of their friends. i was 15 at the time and everyone else was in their 20s or early 30s. i ended up being the best navigator and finding where to eat. i got so good at travelling the subway system that my oldest sister let me go places on my own lmao. i miss japan, it was so fun.

At least you went to Japan when it was only starting to get warm...it's currently 100°f in kyoto...115°f with humidity...sweating buckets out here 🥲 but if you do plan to go to Japan during the transition from spring to summer, I recommend buying cooling wipes from either the convenience stores or drug stores. They're usually labeled with "冷", which means cooling. There are also neck rings too, but those don't really help when you're full body sweating 😬
