He said that social/economic construct, transition/evolution has a strong impact on the characters/story. But also cinema I think Cinema also had/has played it's part (influence) in shaping the society (dressing, aesthetics, relationships, attitude, lifestyle etc.) What all he mentioned about morality and inspiration, I totally agree, even some insights in socio-economic class transition after industrialisation, very thought-provoking which hardly any legend these days talks about. Please bring more such icons and looking forward to more such insightful discussions. And yeah, his clarity of thoughts and certain prompt subtle opinions which were cross countering (in short strong opinionated man)

They delivered hits with different directors and stars. They gave Sholay and Deewar in one year. They captured the zeitgeist of 70s India and their movies and dialogues are remembered even 50 years later. Respect banta hai.
