I've done my research on Javelin missiles and on the war of afghanistan. and if you look closely at the angle the soldier is aiming the launcher to the sky and the timing to the launch i've come to a breathtaking conclusion. BF4 Javelin missiles against laser painted targets are insane. The Javelin by itself though, is easily counterable by popping in and out of cover. It's more of area denial than anything. It just sucks that it no longer is fire and forget without a laser, so you have to stand relatively still while you telegraph yourself to the vehicle you're shooting. Simultaneously the weakest launcher and strongest. Extremely powerful when you have competent teammates lasering targets, next to useless if you're by yourself trying to peek shot tanks in a normal short/mid range setting. It has it's place in the sandbox, but the SRAW and LAW also having laser attacks make it weaker than it could be. BF3 had a nice Javelin, but IR smoke was so OP it literally completely negates it; since smoke had a shorter cooldown timer than it took the Javelin to reload, relock, fire, and travel to targets at reasonable ranges.
