I should probably explain this but I’d recommend reading into it yourselves too, I’m just really tired because my college law classes are wrecking me atm. But a general summary of what I’ve seen is that he didn’t know about the brothers before the show which isn’t a sin by any means but it’s a red flag and he said some weird stuff with Javier Bardem about how this show was about generational trauma (Bardem said something like he admired Jose? 🤨 with Nicholas kind of agreeing.). There is more but I can’t recall it now, I’d just suggest watching interviews if you’re interested but he’s also definitely a victim of how poorly written Lyle was in the show in regard to actual facts and the final product is on Ryan Murphy’s shoulders for that because we can’t blame Nicholas Chavez for doing what he was told by a more powerful director in what most would consider his first big role of his career.

At first the hate was for Murphy and everybody were congratulating the actors but then people didn't like that he didn't went to the prison to meet the brothers or contact them. because for him after finishing a project he wants to move on to the next one;and this was around the time were there were news of Cooper visiting the brothers, also, recent interviews of Nic answering questions about if he believes in the brothers or not has made people mad becase it seems he doesn't believe in them due to the fact that he has said that he has an opinion but he is not going to share it and other times he just avoids to answer that directly, so basically that's why.
@gwendee5070Ай бұрын
@@proxigogo This all happened after the release, when Nicholas faced a lot of backlash. People were criticising his depiction of Lyle, saying he played him as a spoiled brat rather than a victim. His Instagram was flooded with comments claiming the retelling of the brothers' story was completely wrong-it got pretty bad. When the premiere came out, he was happy, excited, and really promoting the show. But right after the press tour, he was mostly defending and justifying his performance. It’s possible that Lyle didn’t want to meet with him, or maybe he wasn’t invited to the events with Kim K and the Green Project. It could’ve been overlapping work commitments, or maybe he just didn’t want to go. His agent might have even advised him to stay neutral and not comment on anything and keep your comment open on Instagram...

Mainly because he didn't go to prison when Cooper did to visit and he said he has a opinion but isn't going to share it. I think personally he gave everything he had and is a little bit hurt over what the brothers said. He definitely is affected by the hate and the brother's response. I personally think he's been told to not say anything at all to not make it worse. But obviously we are just speculating. Cooper also answers a lot of the questions which is understandable as he's very compassionate for them. But just his reaction to the questions on the brothers seems different than Cooper. But honestly no one knows how he feels and people are just speculating at this point.
