The chicken feather patterns are so fantastic. It is almost magical, the many variations. The show birds have such great consistency throughout their patterns, almost too perfect to be real, more like an artistic creation by an artist dedicated to perfection and accuracy ensuring identical pattern of each and every feather.

I enjoy going with you to the auctions and the shows! I also enjoy watching you feed the animals from your hands! Oh and those Muscovy ducks were ugly! Looked like the Drake couldn’t see for all the red stuff on his face! Lots of prayers for y’all! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤

The call ducks are adorable. Those geese are something to see. I'm amazed at the long legs on the modern game chickens. That Crested Crackle Fizzel's top looks like the hats the women wore in the early 1900's. I don't see how some of those chickens can see with all their feathers and red things next to their eyes. Thanks for bringing me along.

Oh boy! I love it when we get to go to the shows with you! I've got time to enjoy watching, just got my cauliflower casserole in the microwave. I put so much in there it will take an hour to cook. Took me an hour to cut and grate everything in there...I'm in so much pain rn. Beautiful candy corns! Oh this lady is everywhere. I remember her from your last show. Imagine that you would love to visit her homestead? Now I don't like those birds with the devil horns...nope. freaky to me. I like your ducks without all that red on their face better too Marie. I sure miss my daddy back when he was a duck hunter...mallards were the usual fare. And it was the best for Christmas dinner with dressing...I wish my husband hunted! I wish I could still hunt, even though I never got to go with my dad. He didn't get his baby boy and I always felt left out. I would have loved to be his little tomboy huntress! Do they ever raise and show pheasants? The most beautiful game bird IMO. And I miss them for holiday dinners as well! lol. TY Marie for taking us again! I hope your Juliet and Romeo get along. Have they met yet? Love you!!!

@kathymcgathy20069 ай бұрын
I hate the heavy red on the Muscovys. I had some years ago and they were more like yours but I felt they were the dumbest ducks in the flock. They were very prolific and were constantly hatching dozens of babies but few ever survived because the moms insisted on eating under the horses getting the grain that fell out of their mouth. Since horses like to move around and stomp their feet as they eat the babies ended up as many splats under them. I could give the mamas the same grain separately but if they saw the horses go to the feed trough they would run over there to get the grain that was dropped. The other breeds I had would stay at their own feeder but every Muscovy would run to the horse trough. Really dumb. Even lost some adults that didn’t move quick enough. 😢 Love ❤️

Thanks for sharing your video. I really enjoy watching it. Growing up back in the Philippines my father had raised chickens, muscovies and turkeys from the 1950’s up to early 70’s. I agree that they’ve gone way too extreme on the breeding on them. I was also wondering how they can even see. Same thing that’s happening to other show animals like the English bulldogs, Pugs and Pekingese. Same with show Persian Cats. They have breathing problems, get tired easily and the Pekingese can’t hardly walk as well. Anyway, thank you. I really really enjoy watching all your videos.

I much prefer your Muscovy ducks! By rights, all polish chickens must be named after 80’s hair bands and members, that’s what I always think of when I see them plus I love 80’s hair bands! I never thought I would love chicken shows as much as I do but I absolutely love going along with you. I love seeing the ducks and some of the geese. I can’t remember what breeds of ducks I really liked. You better be careful or you may become known as the crazy bird lady…not that there is anything wrong with that, lol. I would love to see what you’d do with all of the different types. 💕

Hello Marie. The black rooster with double spurs. How are they to use their spurs? It looked like they were curving down into the legs. What is the difference between the frizzle and polish? God Bless and I love y'all 💕💕💕
@RandomOkieFarms10 ай бұрын
The roosters spurs curve up and inward. I wondered the same thing I’m not sure how effective they are. Frizzle refers to the feather type. I will show you in the video 🤗

I love the Polish but I was wondering, Do they have trouble seeing? Do you have to trim back their feathers? Merry Christmas.

So I wondered the same thing. I asked some of the chicken breeders up there and they don’t have to trim the feathers they can see.
@pamelavargas681110 ай бұрын
I believe that they can see but their feathers can make their temperament different and of course a possible predator snack or perhaps bullying
