Worked a miracle and managed too shoe horn this lump of a unit in a stupidly small amount of space.

Great work, there's a whole level of appreciation to people who work on their cars. Jacking them up and down is a pain, you don't realise how convenient ramps are until you use them. I think my next purchase is going to be something like some electric Quick jacks. Lift up the entire car in one go then axle stands

Man I loved my 6n2 GTI, got gearbox problem and gearbox guy couldnt find gears for it to get refurbished, tried to look for a gearbox but the only one I found was in netherlands and it was more expensive than the price I paid for the car 2 years prior to that failure... had to scrap it :x

Cool project you've got there mate. Had to subscribe so I don't forget to look through your previous videos. A couple of little tips though. Maybe try only working out ROUGHLY what you're going to say before starting the camera, then just chat to it like you would when explaining what you've been up to with a mate (Without the swearing though, obviously. :D). It'll probably sound a bit more natural than what you're doing now. In this video you sound a bit like you're reading from a script that you've just been handed. Maybe when doing a piece to camera, you could just record it, then start explaining the same stuff over again, then one more time. The cameras already set up, and SD card space is cheap these days, so it won't take much extra time, but it means you can watch all three when editing and pick the version you think flowed best. Oh, and if (As I'm hoping) this car is going on the road, when you go for the MOT, ask politely if you can get 10 minutes to video underneath while it's up on the ramp. Just go around slowly videoing everything that's modified under there (With some extra lighting) from several different angles, but trying to avoid getting any of the MOT bay in shot. Edited chunks and stills from that would make great filler footage for when you want to describe stuff in a video, but the weather/lighting isn't up to going out to the car and filming the parts you're talking about. As I said, it's a really cool project, and I'll be watching with interest to see how it progresses.

Yeah it’s really does need some work, I’m not confident and not comfortable.. but every time I see all the comments and the support it makes me work harder for the next video Yeah someone else told me this too, about talking to the camera and forget there’s thousands of people watching but try and film like your trying to explain something to a friend at the back of the lens Which is helping.. Its breaking up something awful.. but you put a big enough turbo on that itll be a blast to drive.. but being a home project, like all others its never gonna be finished.. especially on thatn, youre gonna be snapping axles left and right .. lol. Why tf didn't we get this here in South Africa instead we got ugly 9n Polo's but then i think why we didn't get this it's because we built the MK1 Golf untill 2009 then that generation of Polo's took over because the MK1 wasn't in production anymore

@@ItsmeCraigyP i think maybe there is but if there is it's very very rare we only got GTI versions of the polo from the 9N up untill the new ones we have zero Lupo's aswell because we used some of the Lupo's motor's in our MK1 Golf's because we have facelifted very nippy crazy sounding fuel injected MK1 Citi Golf's with engines ranging from 1.4 and 1.6i and then some are 1.8i which only mostly comes in the MK1 Golf R yes we have a R version of the MK1 comes with a crazy bodykit and 1.8i motor also all our MK1'S with fuel injection the sporty versions like Velociti and CitiRox have Lupo GTI rims and steering wheel and so forth so Volkswagen of South Africa didn't want us to have the Lupo or the Polo so we made our own just for South Africa Golf's but i so badly want to see our Golf's in other countries because it's a South African staple product
