Being an owner of a Royal Enfield I didn't like the attitude of the classic owner. Jawa waale bhaiya just won me over with his way of talking and authenticity.

I have used bullet classic and now own Jawa42. Fuel consumption of both bikes is similar. Performance of Jawa is better. Jawa is lighter than bullet. So handling is better. Jawa has modern retro look. But Jawa has low ground clearance which is only downside as comparison with bullet.

Jawa 42 2.1 has rusting issue..ground clearance to chalate chalate apko pata chal hi jata hai k kaise manage karna hai.. but performance me jawa k as pas nehi hai classic 350.

I own a jawa 42. The mileage I am getting is 32 approx(after first service)in city conditions.The first service cost is Rs 1500 .The advantages of the bike is lighter in weight than RE 350 so it is much easier to handle .You can have less turning radius.Very powerful engine.Some of the cons are lower seat height and ground clearance.Ground clearance matters if you ride on speed breaker with a pillion rider.Since it has six speed gears,there is frequent gear shifting within a small speed range.So you will find yourself shifting gears mostly in city condition otherwise the engine will begin to knock. No side stand indicator or trip meter.

Both bike suprb.. Dono ka alag alag choice hai.. But Royal Enfield wala fake raha hai.. Jawa wala genuine lag raha hai..

I bought RE classic 350 bs6 single channel abs pure black on 6july 2021,on road price 2.07lkh, first servicing cost me Rs 1200 . I am getting 28-30kmpl. Ground clearance is better than jawa. But power is high on jawa. Road side assistance is also available for RE for around 3.5k (optional).

I am not Classic Bikes lover and i have pulsar 135 cc only. I live in NCR, so long race ka option to apne pas hota nhi h. Many time on road, i am verbally racing with bullet and till 95% i won. And 3 times, i am racing with jawa and -------- jawa beat my bike like - i am going on sport / platina or splender. Jawa going like GOLI . Jawa overtake me, when my speed was approx 108-112 km . So JAWA is Great.

You might have waited for few more days to compare it with new 2021 RE classic 350..! Apart from than when testing the sound Jawa k time apne throttle tej nahi karwaya but u did it ask him to throttle when in RE.. 😀

I will give a honest review for jawa 42 BS6 2021 model after 9 Months. I am using this bike in the Monsoon State of India - Arunachal Pradesh. Cons and pros - 1. For dry weather, disc pads will run for 5 months. For state like Arunachal where there is 6 months rains, I have changed my brake pad three times in 9 Months. Brake pads quality is poor for this heavy bike. It costs around 450 rupees. 2. For speed below 20kmph, you cannot remove your clutch else Engine will starts knocking loudly. Low gear performance is very poor taste unlike RE. 3. For speed above 20 and gears above 20kmph, Jawa is lovely. You will want to run it more faster. Above 20kmph, it's makkan 😊. Throttle Response is good. 4. Cooler fan is irritating as it blows the hot air sideways which makes your legs hot in traffic. 5. In case your bike had fallen be it minor fall, the engine fault indication glows. After that you are supposed to take it to dealer else the bike will shut down again and again after 20 -30 metres. The dealer will connect their device to the bike and scan the bike for any damages. It's good if you are living nearby a dealer. But if you are far away from dealer you will need a tow truck. My bike have fallen three times sideways due to loosing control over weight since we have bad roads. 6. Light intensity is poor for halo lamp in jawa42. 7. Body is comfortable for long rides except the butts which is painful.
