Honestly, this is the coolest build on KZbin. I love everything about this bike: the rigid frame, the springer front end with not too much rake, yellow headlamp, the awesome saddle, sweetheart of a parallel twin engine, cool exhaust, low handlebars, raw look with no paint, and especially the rear flip-out wheel covers!!!👍🏻👌🏻Perfection. And getting the kids involved was awesome too 🤜🏻

Best build video ever! I ALWAYS included my son working on motorcycles or anything mechanical while he was growing up. I've restored a couple of Shovelheads (FL, FLT and an FLHT) and rebuilt motors for a few friends so there was always wrenching to be done and my son always helped. Your little ones helping brought back a lot of memories for my wife and I --- we shared this video with our son just now and he got one heck of a laugh and it brought a big smile to his face --- as he was heading out the door to hop on a CB750 Brat we built. Good times in the beginning = good times throughout. Love your videos, ride safe Bro!

Yes! Even if they only help a few minutes here or there, and lose interest, they will always proudly say (and you will reinforce this), "I helped my dad build this motorcycle". :)

Most impressive! Not only is that a sweet little machine, but that boy sure seems to know his stuff!

This is the most beautiful father and kids video I have seen. You know both those kids are gonna have dirty hands when they grow up. Great that the mum goes along with it. That is if she isnt away while this was being filmed. Look at the wonder in the boys eyes as that engine rotates to the timing lights. Both of them screwing nuts and bolts . That boy has great dexterity with that ratchet.

Fantastic! Looks better than Harley and Indian. This thing having so simple mechanisms and giving back so much fun from ride. In Poland we had WSK and Junak vintages. Java was third brand popular in Poland in 70's / 80's.

I've spent the lockdown, here in England, building a CZ café racer powered by the Jawa 350-638 engine for someone. The CZ 350 -489 that CZ never produced, but what CZ fans wished that they had. needless to say CZ fans all over the world have built their version of the CZ 350-489. This will be the third one I've build so far, this time using a 1979 CZ 250-471.4 as a basis because it's a better looking bike than the later mid 1980's series 5 & 6 bikes. The charging system which uses and aftermarket solid state regulator / rectifier / alternator brash controller for the Suzuki GT 360/ 550/750 coupled with a Magneton alternator control box (the electrical system has double regulation) which is a system I've used since the mid 1990's to fix the God awful failure prone OEM Jawa system found on Jawa 350-632 & Jawa 350-638's back then. The engine is from a 2000's Jawa 350-640 and I haven't derestricted the pistons yet. Pipes are Jawa 350-638 with teh restrictor collars removed from the baffles. Tis gives 28 HP / 28 Koni currently. Derestricting the pistons will restore the engine to the 1986 specification of 34 HP / 34 Koni @ 6,500 RPM (and probably break the unreinforced chain adjuster).

That little boy is going places! Thanks Dad for letting learn early. As he has the clutch laid out on the floor is precious! That frame looks a little bit delicate, is it going to stand up to that 350+ cc? Good luck and keep the boy inrested.
