Great review, again, man! Personally, I own 2, 3, and 4, but never really watched much of any of them. I’ve seen clips, here and there, that looked varied on quality 😂 To answer your question, yes, the original author, Benchley, wrote the first sequel book. Not sure if there’s more, but I do own both books, and haven’t read them, yet. I’ve heard both are very good, to my surprise hahah. Keep up the great work!
