Stern Pinball, Inc. announces their newest pinball games featuring JAWS, one of the most iconic motion picture thrillers of all time from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Players will experience all four blockbuster JAWS films like never before, with brand-new mechanical features inspired by iconic movie moments and state-of-the-art technology. JAWS pinball games are available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE) models.
JAWS transports players to the fictional locale of Amity Island, located off the coast of Long Island, New York. The small fishing community is a popular beach vacation location in the summer. As Fourth of July vacationers close in on the island’s picturesque beaches, grave danger lurks below sea level… The Amity Island mayor covers up the shark attacks out of fear of losing the island’s tourism money, resulting in more terrifying attacks.
Stern’s JAWS pinball games will have players grabbing their harpoons and playing as Quint, Hooper, and Brody to save Amity Island’s residents and the Fourth of July! As the grizzled fishermen, tackle the most dangerous ocean creatures on the planet. Tension mounts as you see “blood in the water” from our animated lighting effects. Fire pinballs at the motorized “Shark Fin” target swimming across the playfield. We will have to see. The upper playfield looks pretty underwhelming with the single mini flipper and only 2 shots? I think the center boat looks worse and less inviting than the pro shark but the shark would be fun to hit. Still get the moving target and the 180 'wave' ramp. Also I think the art looks a LOT better on the pro. So clean. That is subjective though. Pro could be a very good option on this one.

@@colemangreen4191 the upper play field looks generic. The boat looks generic and the back glass looks generic. Play field art looks great. I'm assuming the shark fin will be the first part to fail/break. With all that said, I'm still interested in playing!

I think two or three pop bumpers in the area where the ORCA play field is on the Premiums and LEs would make the Pro model a great base model pinball machine.

I seen this Jaws pinball trailer already on RETROCENGO channel. I like the moving shark 🦈 fin and under playfield shark that jumps out, does it swallow balls like Trex in Jurassic Park or Groot from Guardians pins? I'll be sold because That'll be awesome.

Zen's Jaws is awful, no Jaws theme,not even the name Jaws on the actual table, no voices from the movies, pointless. Zen need the Stern License and emulate them as well as they do with their Williams tables, the Zen originals are just nowhere near as good as their real life table recreations.

I'm very disappointed because the game seems so cool and beautiful but a Jaws theme without Brody (the main character after the shark) , it seems to me a big problem...

I will be really interested to see how Stern has physically implemented a game standard feature in Zen Studios Pinball FX (the shark target). That mechanism must be huge under the Playfield, and I'm very curious to see how they combined "Mick on a stick" with a drop target. It feels like the reverse had happened here. Stern had paid homage to Digital Pinball designs instead of the reverse. And I'm totally OK with that too be honest.
