You captured some great action at that first railroad crossing. Your comment on the "Sick horn" at 2:41 correct. That is one of the weirdest sounding train horns that I have heard. It was interesting to see all the Tropicana refrigerator cars that the switch engine had in its train. The hump in the street at that first crossing looks like it could still hang up a semi-trailer. I hope that no one with a low-boy trailer tries to use that street to cross the tracks.
@JawTooth2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I saw one semi go over it and drag the bottom. I wish I could have filmed that. There is a sign telling them not to use this crossing

@@JawToothsigns seem to have no meaning to people. There is a historic covered bridge in Long Grove, Illinois (a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois) that keeps getting damaged by box trucks and school buses. The latest instance was late last week. The news reports on the latest instance also report that the bridge has been hit and damaged something like forty-two times in the last two years. Some of the damage is just a dent to the top frame of the bridge. Other accidents require closing the bridge to make repairs.

That NS unit had the most anemic horn and frankly the number of trailers it was hauling was less than the average priority Intermodal. Great to see the local with all those Tropicana cars and then the long Hood GE go by with another local. Those Autoracks staying busy as demand for autos remains High and one old green BN car was now so faded the lettering is not legible. Norfie is now the production assistant and also has its own mail bin while Chessie missed her cue and Sophie just rolls through life without a care.
