Baklava Royale is my SOTD! Yes Mahni Cassonade is widely interpreted. I think we get the same thing. I don't get bergamot, or smokey, or spicy like some others are picking up on. I get vanilla ice cream, musky, lots of amberwood and toffee.

Baklava Royale is the first Navitus fragrance I bought and LOVED from first sniff. It is even prettier and better than I imagined and I thought it would be good. This one is gorgeous and definitely 1 of my favorites from the house.

I haven’t tried the entire line either, but as far as gourmands, the Navitus x KZbinrs collabs always understand the assignment! I wore Bakalava to work and got NO work done. The last time I was hounded like this was when I wore Ambrosia Imperiale to work. These perfumes brought people from other floors in the building and people wandering around asking who smells so good. If I ever get my hands on Mahni, at least I’ll be prepared. Venom and Chocolate Queen are yummy as well. I love them all!

Sampling is definitely the way to go. It’s always a risk. There are sooooo many things that effect how we interpret a scent. Too many factors to make any blind purchase a guarantee. Definitely check out Greta’s site. She has a ton of options. ❤️

Mahni Cassonade is my favorite Nativus perfume to date! I pick up on the ice-cream, vanilla and praline. I get compliments all day when I wear this. I can still smell it on my clothes two days later when I went to do my laundry. I absolutely love it! I gave ambrosia imperial to my cousin, all I could smell was saffron and that is a note I hate. I like amorous intense, I think it is a fun fruity fragrance.

Thank you for this video! I recently ordered a sample of Baklava Royale and I can't wait to try it. I am nervous about the orange blossom, though not really a fan of it. To be quite honest, I am done blind buying especially from Navitus, it's been hit or miss. I've purchased Miel Extase, Mahni Cassonade and Amorous intense. Sold all 3 on Mercari, definitely a miss for me. The only one I purchased and kept was Ambrosia imperiale and I love that one.

I think I need to get my nose and hands on Miel Extase. I’ve only heard great things about that fragrance. I think I’ll get that bottle when I get me a backup bottle of both Baklava Royale. I have numerous ….a lot…at least a dozen. Not sure if Baklava is my favorite but WOW it is phenomenal. This is outrageous and you’ll definitely be a snack. I get similarities between this, the embrace and venom of love. Next to Ylang in gold, this has been my next favorite recent blind buy. Kind intentions I got upon release as well, and was a love. I get a wooly, incense, sweet, almost lactonic scent. Miel extase is another winner. I may need a back up.

I agree with all your reviews. All my Navitus fragrances is mostly fall/winter wear. As much as I enjoy their fragrances - bc they truly know how to make a damn good Gourmand scent - their Customer service is lacking - big time! Bahklava Royale was an instant love on FIRST spray. First spray made me cough 😝 and THAT’S how I knew it would be BOMB! And to think, all Navitus fragrances gets better with time! Mahni was an instant love but Ambrosia Imperial - she slowly snuck up on me. After she sat for a few weeks…wow! She became an instant year round love.

Baklava Royale is one of the best perfumes I’ve ever smelled. I wasn’t going to purchase it at first because I’m not a gourmand lover. It’s actually my least favorite scent profile. My gut told me to just go for it. I’m so glad I did. It was love at first sniff! It’s beautiful ❤

Funny thing, Raised Spirit is one of my top fall/winter fragrances. To make it more feminine, I always layer with B&BW Midnight Amber Glow or Cinnamon & Sandlewood AND depending on my mood, I also add Juicy Couture Gold to the mix. Compliments all day!

I love nutty scents and I don’t have any perfumes that truly have a prominent pistachio note. My Yum Pistachio Gelato certainly doesn’t. Baklava Royale sounds perfect! Divine Aphrodisiac was my blind buy thrill but I hate it. I am letting it sit for a few months and then try to sell it. I love Raised Spirits and find it to be more unisex in the cold weather but more masculine in the heat. After letting it sit for a few months it has gotten so much better.

I’ve been disappointed with quite a few Navitus scents I bought, largely to support YT influencers. However, Baklava Royale did not disappoint! It’s honey and nuts, (finally a real pistachio!) to me. I’ll stop there because I too feel Navitus is not safe blind buys. in addition to what you mentioned there’s a family run small bus out of Philadelphia that sells decants…get samples! I got a decant of Baklava Royale and this was not for me. It didn't smell bad at all but it was just something about it. I know it's a dead ringer for Frustration by Etat Libre D'orange. I didnt like that one at first either until I had to let it macerate. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I think Amorous Intense is very similar to Kirke by Tiziana Terenzi.

Never tried anything from Navitus, but I have a friend with a few samples so I probably will try them shortly. They have a sample chocolate queen but unfortunately strongly disliked it. I guess the brand seems to mostly make gourmands and that is something that for some people is a difficult category. I wonder what I'll think?! I can't wait to see what I think 😊 the fragrances get so much hype and I'm so intrigued 😊

You should try Serenade, Soir Exclusif, The Embrace, and Sartorial Nuit. The first two may lean masculine for you, but they are straight unisex for me. I adore The Embrace, and Sartorial Nuit is really pretty. SN seems like it might be masculine, but it really is not.

It’s a brand new formula. Spray it a few times and let it oxidize. Most likely you’ll get projection after it sets. Hope that helps. ❤️

I have siesta drive and it’s not masculine at all … at least not to my nose … it’s so sweet and yummy but they do have a siesta key that is more masculine !! I know we all smell thing’s different so I don’t want to seem like a crazy woman doubting you 😂 but my husband would never wear siest drive way too sweet for him and I love girly fragrance to so I am perplexed by this 🤔 If you get another chance to try siesta drive from somewhere else give it a go ❤

My decant is from the Navitus sample set and says siesta drive on it. I know other women who feel the same as you and don’t think it’s masculine. I just really get a lot of the lavender which translates to masculine for me in this fragrance. ❤️

I just went on the Navitus web sight to look up the notes , because you said you get lavender in it 🤔… there is no lavender in this perfume. If I lived in the US i would send you a decant of mine to try , if you ever run into someone that has a bottle ask for a sniff 😄 ( I don’t want to seem like I’m bulling you about this fragrance, that sooo not my intention, again just really perplexed) love your channel and your taste of fragrance ❤️I hope some day you get to make a fragrance

Kind intentions had something weird in it that I just couldn’t place. I think it was the seaweed mixed with the sweetness. I do love Amorous and Sharida’s perfume! Im nervous about Baklav because I don’t really like nutty perfumes.

If you don’t like nutty perfumes definitely get a sample. It’s very pistachio and almond heavy to my nose.

Jackie! (Sorry, last comment lol) try & do a side by side smell test of Baklava Royale and Blanche Bete. To my nose, BR has a darker, deeper side to it but both smells a bit familiar. Right? I’d love to know what you think.

I get too much milk and Tuberose in Blanche bete to find them similar. I also get a lot of musk in Blanche Bete. I love them both though! ❤️

rewatched your video this morning and came upon this comment. It’s amazing what 4 weeks can do to a fragrance! At that time, Baklava Royale just arrived & my nose literally thought them two fragrances smelled so similar. Four weeks later I don’t agree with my original statement 😆…not at all!!

Reised Spirits = Viscious Cacao by Maison Tahité. Chocolate Queen = very chemical, strong, and not chocolate parfume at all. I almost get a full bottle, and thank God I get only a sample. Kind Intentions = very nice, long lasting, aquatic and green version of Baccarat Rouge 540.

Hi Jackie, Have you ever tried Baklava by Pearlescent/Gallagher Parfum? I believe it came out in 2021/2022. Could you do a comparison video if you get a chance. Some of the notes are the same as Baklava Royale but some are different, and seeing Baklava Royale was your number one choice, would love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve tried several from navitus, they all seem to have a similar vibe that I can’t put my finger on. I haven’t tried the ones from AI the great or Sharida(I want to) but I’m scared they will have the same off thing about them. Do all Navitus share the same vibe? Like some fragrance house all sort of smell similar

Did you have to let your Chocolate Queen macerate? I have a sample of it and the full bottle, but the full bottle doesn’t smell chocolately at all unlike the sample 😢

Yes! When I first got CQ all I got was amberwood…. I had to let it oxidize for a bit but omg now it’s chocolate heaven.

I recently smelled the perfumes from a discovery set and it was an interesting experience. I gotta give them full wears bc I just got them late November. Before that, all the decants I’d tried out (a total of 3, but still) were super reminiscent of other older fragrances. Chocolate Queen is twinning with Dolce Passione, Miel Extase is SUPER similar to Dulce Diablo (luckily the liquor notes are a bit more tame so I LOVE Miel but could hardly tolerate Dulce), and Amorous Intense gave me very strong Kirke vibes (I envy that you get green apple jolly ranchers and caramel from it bc I’d have bought a bottle QUICK if I did. Can I borrow your nose? Lol) which I unfortunately don’t vibe with. My most recent experience was Mahni Cassonade which was unique to me and love at first sniff. So NOW I guess I’m going to HAVE to try Baklava since you have it at your top spot. I’m sure it’ll be at LEAST a like tho for me.
