Jay is such an open book. He has no filter and just tells it how it is. I admire him a lot for that.

I want to thank you for taking time to embrace and show pride in the positive parts your parents brought to the world. Too often concentrating on the scandals seems more fulfilling for some. Until I hope that moment never comes for me, I’ll be singing along with your mom tk her beautiful music.

I grew up watching PTL with my Grandmother. I’ve always adored Tammy Faye and I know she is in heaven, busting with pride at how Jay spreads the word with such love. ❤️

My mom was a good Christian lady,she really came to love Tammy Faye and what she stood for.My mom didn't judge people,and I'm sure she realized Tammy and Jim had paid for their mistakes.But they made a huge accomplishment in what they did do,with Heritage usa and ptl.Ashamed people can't see the good in what they did do but instead focus on the negative aspects

The sad thing is the sister is following her father, Jim Bakker & Jim Bakker has nothing to do with his son. That sister should be trying to get her father to reconcile with Jay.

Jay, you are as beautiful as your mother. I am not Christian, but I believe in what you stand for and being inclusive is what we all need to lean toward. Love can be an answer for almost anything especially conflict.

Just curious, why aren’t you a Christian? Sincere and honest question. ☺️
@btdfw
@btdfw 2 жыл бұрын
@@mj6962There are a lot of reasons why. Among them, my mother was a minister. My church rejected me. I just don't feel that if there was a god he would let such injustices carry out in his name. My mind can not process things that do not make sense and having faith means to believe something without evidence. I wasn't made that way. I question anything that does not make sense. My mind will work on solving anything that doesn’t make sense to it until I’m able to come up with the most likely answer. My mother took a while, but before she passed away, she was proud of me, her gay son. I mean no one could know me better than her. She chose to love the boy who turned into the man she raised. It was always me. Nothing about me ever changed. I remained true to who I was and that is who I was born to be, unapologetically.

All the lampooning and characterizations aside, no matter what may be said about the make-up, scandal, etc, after watching many of her shows and appearances through her marriage to Jim and then post scandal, I’ve really come to believe that Tammy Faye was (is) a true Christian in the image of our Lord and Savior. She truly had a believer’s heart of love and compassion for EVERYONE.

Your mom was a good woman my dad met her and Jim when my dad was a prison chaplain. Your mom was passionate to help them when others would now. Soon after there was a ministry of putting satellites inside the prisons that would play Christian TV . The prisoners loved it and many came to the lord.

I am looking for the video interview on TBN with Paul Crouch Jr with Tammy Faye where she talked about the gays who were there for her in her moment of need. She also condemned some preachers for being full of themselves . The video was available on TBN but it looks like they took down a lot of videos that involved Paul Crouch Jr. It was one of the most amazing interviews I have ever seen. I would be willing to pay for a copy.

charlotte observer and the media were so rabid to take down the bakkers. they never mentioned that tammy faye donated all the millions of dollars from her albums, some sold over a million copies. they took away heritage village from millions of people to persecute one man! the media never mention the hours worked every week by jim & tammy! and shame on assembly of god church for not stepping in and saving heritage village!

I remember seeing the Documentary called " The Eyes of Tammy Faye" Really good movie. Gives lots insite into her life. She did have a sweet heart. One of the first reach out to alot of gay men during the height of the Aids Pandemic when others would not because of rejecting them because of how they lived but also false fears of contracting Aids.

Sad people got sucked in giving money. Very sad story. People who do this unreal. She was a good person but her and husband got it into heads money was everything. Very sad that they showed her dying I felt was wrong. Her mother was horrible to her. She was searching for love. All people who do not know God do this.

Tammy Faye did not make it to heaven son. She believed in Jesus and loved him but she had sin and sin does not get in. We have sins that we don't see as sin. Even christians and pastors. Ppl have gone to hell and have seen christians in hell because of SIN. Sins that weren't seen as sin.

This is their son! Would you expect him to focus on the negative? Fortunately, he has focused on the good not the bad in his parents. He mentioned how he resented not enough focus on his education. I have no clue how far he went with his formal education. However, he has lots of books behind him and he is very articulate. Everyone is complex. I think it is not only healthy for him to focus on the good, but it is also the right thing to do in his life.
