Hi Mr. Beckenstein been a fan of yours since about 1976 and I’m 56 years old now wow how time flies great to see that you are on top the mountain Everest of musicians still playing I would like to see on your channel if you could credit the other musicians in the band I remember back in the days going down to J&R music world in New York City and spending a good half a day scrolling through all of the albums looking at the liner notes and Finding out the other musicians and eventually you could hear them sometimes on other albums for example Marcus Miller he has a distinct style and that sends you to another group you start listening to them you might hear Randy Brecker and then you move on from there and that’s how you get hooked to jazz at least I did back since about 1972 when I was a little tot AnyWho would love to see it if all of the musicians are revealed somewhere on your page per album thanks keep up the great work and keep going strong

Jay I've recently gotten into spyro gyra. I've heard your name and your band in circles with other musicians but never sat down and had a good listen. I first heard you on the dream theater album images and words on the track another day and your playing was amazing. I've got to say now that I've sat down and listen to spyro gyra you sir are musical genius I my eyes. Please keep on making music ! 🎶

Mr Beckenstein, this is fantastic!!! I have been a fan of Spyro Gyra since I was a teenager. You were the first instrumental band I had ever heard. The album was Breakout. Unforgettable to the date.

Hello Jay, I'm very pleased to hear about you and glad to find this micro concert. I remember y met Spyro Gyra because my cousin Beto showed me a couple of albums after my first trip to Miami when I was 14 and heard Morning Dance. Currently I play trombone in the Big Brazz Band and been doing it for the last 8 years. My cousin passed away last Monday due a heart stroke. He was your fan. Rest in peace. Numero uno fan here !! First came to know you when I was living in Europe ( Italy ) with my dad due to his job, 1974. This Italian lad who played the sax was our neighbor, and he introduced me to Spyro! WOW hooked that day! Cheers for the emotions you and your fellow musicians gave us and still do!
