This dude was right up there with the best of them as far as arm talent goes. I will always remember a throw he made as a Bronco in Arizona. Rolling hard to his left, rusher bearing down on him, flipped his hips and unloaded it from his own 35 in a split second before getting hit, all the way into the endzone for a TD. Still one of the best throws I've ever seen to this day. Good to see ppl putting some respect on his name.

He was playing one Sunday getting constantly hit and sacked three times and he got hurt. Backup came in barely got touched. All of a sudden the O line was impenetrable.

I thought he was gonna say he would like to change his decision to go tackle the defender after he threw a pass to Johnny Knox and it was picked off after Knox slipped and Jay broke his thumb and was out the rest of the year. He and the Bears were 7-3 and had just won 5 in a row. … In the booth, I think he’d flourish because he knows the game, the schemes, and wouldn’t be afraid to tell us, the viewers, who screwed up because he wouldn’t care about folks “coming for him” and criticizing him. I blame the Dolphins for signing him away from Fox. LOL

Cutler maintained his cool (and still does) when he didn't fit the NFL "profile" of nose rings and purple suits. He's well spoken, thoughtful and honest. He just flows through it. Good dude.

Jay cutler come back make a appearance on broncos network see how much has changed in Denver. Time heals all wounds. Sad that you couldn’t be here cause I fill we were on the right path if only we had a defense. Broncos country appreciates everything you’ve done even if for a small while.

Stephen A's Jay Cutler rants were pure comedy lmao I wish Jay had went on First Take at some point. I'm pretty sure the media's "hate" for Jay was all Stephen A's fault 😅

Dude you must be very young if you think that. It was Chicago media that created the narrative around his career.

@@alexanderhayward8505 Stephen A spread much or most of that narrative nationally and globally. No one trashed Jay Cutler as comprehensively and consistently as Stephen A. In as much as Stephen A acknowledged Cutler's talent and ability to play in the NFL, and aside from questioning Jay Cutler's commitment to playing and his leadership, he called him a thief, he called him a disease, and various other things. And he continued to mock and still mocks Jay Cutler's NFC Championship Game MCL tear.

Bears fan here, Jay had a monster arm but could not make things happen when even 1 guy broke down. How many 3rd and 7s and he would throw a 6 yd pass. Good guy for everyone but not a put the team on his back and lets go win this one.

Awesome interview. Been a diehard bears fan my whole life and came of age when Jay took over the reigns at QB. Some games I definitely wanted to strangle the guy but goddamn I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy having him as our QB. Anyone with a keen sense totally picked up on how much the media lit him up every time he messed something up, and how fuckin TOUGH Jay was. Saw this man also get bit by the announcers curse more than any other soul on the planet. Always rooted for him, tried his best to win, wish him nothing but success. Bear Down.
