You gotta love Jay! He not only saves some of the most incredible classics ever built from oblivion, He also restores some & pampers his collection. Most importantly though...HE DRIVES THEM. It don't matter to him if it's a $5,000 car or a $500,000 car, you gotta get them out of the garage or museum & get them on the road & that you gotta respect.

Cars are meant to be driven! He has the right idea with his MASSIVE collection! I wonder what will happen to them when the inevitable happens, hopefully many many years from now. His parents lived well in to their 80’s from mentions in other episodes.

If kids today can’t drive a simple manual transmission, who in the hell will know how to start up up any of these classic cars? Spark, retard, clutch, oiler, hand brakes? Wait can I even use the word retard without getting stoned by the PC police?

Don't compare people that drive their cars everyday to work, plus have limited amount of money to maintain them. To a guy that is a millionaire, has a team of mechanics that keeps the cars in great condition. Plus cars that don't drive that often compared to an everyday car.

Jay takes a limited number of people on rides in his cars, at least from what I've seen on videos. This is the first time I've ever seen him offer anyone to drive any of them and one of his Duesenbergs no less. But then Dennis is a car legend all his own so it makes total sense.
