Chinese lacquer goes back to 5000 BC! I've seen traditional lacquer craftsmen working. The patience that goes into the finish is incredible, layer after layer, drying, natural leaf abrasives, then more layers and finishing, all done by hand.

It is another level. In Asia, mostly Japan and China, do you have the RICH!!! People for whom a couple of millions is pocket change, and there are a lot of these insanely rich guys in these places. But when you arrive at this level is it no longer about the sound, because they do all sound perfect, at that level is it about esthetic and culture. Alone the house you have to own to get space to fit in that system with plenty of space to let it live and breathe, shows you how rich we are talking about.

Jay if you want to play with big horns in the future you will need to consider a much bigger listening room. More and more Chinese audio-brands are getting very serious about offering high quality products, mostly relatively affordable compared with western and Japanese increasingly silly-priced brands. Very similar to what happen with Japan in the 70’s. Good for the audiophile consumers 👍 Lets leave behind the stereotypes from the past. Regards from Sweden

What stereotypes ? No human rights for Chinese citizens to practice religion ? No rights to speak out about government injustices ?? Quality has nothing to do with why not to support the Chinese State.

Jay is showcasing this incredible and unique system to his viewers, because he finds it worthwhile and believes that we appreciate it too. So why are you coming here with your negative comments talking about politics and human rights ? when this channel is all about audio and positivity. You’re a guy that not that long ago was hyping and selling several Chinese audio brands ! Back Then you never said anything about human right or freedom of religion, until you no longer represented those brands because they didn’t accept paying you as high-profit margins as you get from the other manufacturer’s ! I call that HYPOCRISY ! The Chinese audio-industry is making many greedy western manufactures very nervous and it’s unstoppable ! 😅 As you well know boycotting China’s products will make the world stop ✌️ Peace

In the United States of America no freedom for parents to decide if they want their children to be taught in school about 1000 genders. The holy bible has being taken out of all the schools. Freedom of speech is dead( you might get cancelled), grown creepy men in drag costume using women's toilet, police brutality against black people is Alarming(The race that built America with their had work and wisdom ), mass incarceration has being weaponized against black people to weaken their family structure and growth, many young black men lack sense of identity and belonging because of all the trauma and injustice they have faced in United States of America, single black mom's raising boys on their own without any father figure to discipline them. Drug epidemic problem.

@@MrJoca72 Avoiding all of the geopolitical tensions, you may want to consider that the Chinese gov't for decades required non-Chinese companies to operate within China as joint ventures with a majority owned Chinese partner. This resulted in a forced technology transfer for any company wanting to penetrate the Chinese market. While this practice is coming to an end, China continues to feed its strategically important companies with low cost or even free capital. You can criticize western companies all you want, but the fact does remain that China does not compete on a level economic playing filed. And I understand this has nothing to do with Jay's fascinating channel, apologies to you @jaysaudiolab.
