For those who have questions this is what I know which may give you answers. Jay was involved in the attack on Tom Hilton, however there are at least 2 other young men reporting the same happened to them in Tenerife, where they ended up partying in a remote area & they were robbed. These appear to be 2 separate incidents, with 1 guy being missing for 4 days & found with 2 black eyes. Jays mum has said she got a message saying kiss your son goodbye, he owes a lot of money so it could be something dodgy happening on the island and nothing to do with his past. Or he’s walked away alone & been hurt/got lost etc.

I don't think he is in that area "lost". They would have found him. I come from there. They have equipment to find him. Some caves are really small, not that easy to direct a drone inside each one of them, but normally, in these cases the people used know the terrain. Know the caves. Also there are no dangerous animals, so he cannot just have "disappeared". But someone could have made him disappear. Because even if he had dehydrated he should be lying somewhere. He would have been found by now. I strongly believe his disappearance has more to do with his dealings, these two men.... Rather than temperatures, and lack of water. Unless he was on "something" and he fell in a Clift or similar with difficulty access which is also possible in that landscape. God help him, and his family and poor mother. Strength to them all ❤

That’s what I heard as well. I heard that he owes 30 grand and strangely that’s what go fund me is for, may be speculation though. Also read on one of the reports that the go fund me was suspended but someone else said it was still running. Just all a tad odd

Is there any way of verifying what Jay said to Lucy on that phone call? We are taking him saying he was lost and not having water for a basic fact, but we only have Lucy’s word that was what he said on that phone call. What if he actually said something else and she’s not being truthful as it would have implications for her?

If you are innocently lost, you phone the emergency services. If you are not lost, you phone your friend / associate. P.S: the mother doesn't have to be on Social Media at all. Speculation is one thing. Venomous speculation is quite another.

Maybe he had a fall sadly, and he is hurt , However a lot of things make no sense, his friend Lucy Law managed to track the place he was, I assume she went by hire car ,the two men said he was going to buy cigarettes before returning to his apartment,what they just let him find his way knowing he didnt know the area ,? If you drove him all that way for whatever reason ,you wouldnt walk him to the bus stop ? See him off , and when he missed the bus why not go back to their place and be comfortable until the next bus was due ? Especially as he had low power and no water,what you prefere to attempt to trek 11 hours to you accomadation than spend couple hours with the people who brought you there? the bus stop was outside their air bnb ,it is too many red flags it does not add up ,i hope the family and friends staying strong ,but the authorities maybe did not look into the red flags properly .
