24 years ago I was in Ibiza. After a night out to a club on the other side of the island I left early without my friends, extremely drunk, and started walking back towards my hotel along an unlit road through what I can only describe as a desert. I soon sobered up a bit. Cars were whizzing past me in the darkness. Suddenly a car pulled over and a beautiful local girl offered me a lift back to my hotel, 6 miles away. I mumbled something and climbed into the passenger seat. She gave me a bottle of water and the nicest, friendliest smile ever. She chatted to me for the entire drive. She pulled up outside my hotel, dropped me off, I slurred my thanks and she went on her way. I look back now and know that girl probably saved my life. She took a huge risk at night on a drunk teenager, out of concern I wouldn't get run over or lost. Thank you whoever and wherever you are beautiful and kind lady. 💙

after sleeping under a tree due to being ill and hottest day of the year... i drove past a young man in the sun...my car was full and he was not hitching anymore but kind of given up 👍👍trying...His friends had left him or more like missed him (2 roads to exit from.) I made room, he had no water, no money, no charge left on his phone, no shoes, cut feet & it was hot.... he couldnt give me directions so i put something into the Garmin sat nav. The car went funny (or was it me?) we arrived in the middle of nowhere... oh fuck! funny but i had a nokia 100. Was able to call my friend to give a better postcode location and off we went. He got dropped off and i gave him a big bottle of water i had collected on the way out of the festival. Fast forward i had covid and much later the car broke down on the M6 Toll booth :-) and i had no charge on my phone... They (M6 Toll Booth staff) were fantastic at looking after me, charged my phone, cups of tea... silver heat blanket 🤗🤗

Kids out his mind on shit drugs most likely went with those people to keep partying in the morning probably had no money on him didn't realise how far they travelled plus nobody knows what happened in the house he went to. Once he left and started walking back got lost with no water and probably not eaten in hours panicking he rang his friend for help she said go back and wait but he wasn't keen so who knows what they did to him (maybe nothing) he just kept on walking up the mountains in the red hot sun. Most likely walked for hours tried to find shelter fell asleep didn't wake up.

The fact his jaw appears to be swinging in the video is consistent with taking ecstasy. Being at a rave there is a very good possibility he was taking drugs. It seems he was drinking, taking drugs and possibly had no sleep, prior to embarking on an 11 hr hike with mountains and heat. I seriously doubt he was kidnapped, more likely made bad decisions to short cut across dangerous terrain.

Why would he venture there out on foot? Couldn't he wait for another bus or some kind of transportation? Was he kidnapped? That's so sad. Hope they find him alive. I just don't get this whole story. Whether he was on ex or not, why did he: 1. Leave his friend with a bunch of strangers to go to the other side of the island. 2. Why did he not ask these people for a charge for his phone. 3. Why did he leave this group in the morning not knowing where he was at or asking for a ride or something if he slept there. 4. Why not ask someone where he was at for help or stay in a single spot where he can be found instead of just wandering a "deserted island". The sad news is, at this stage with the weather, no water, no food, no good clothing and no one has seen him since Monday......I don't see this turning out well for him or his family and friends.

Things do add up - he was at a festival so probs suffering from the affects/after affects of drink/drugs. He was told there was a bus stop near, but he went on an adventure in blaring heat, already dehydrated with no map.
