I fish the Finger Lakes of Upstate NY....different cottage every 50 feet, scads of jet skis roaring around, motor boats out the wazzo, screaming mimi's......eeesh. @@ClaytonSchickOutdoors absolutely! I just got in from a shore walleye outing on Erie Had to hike out on a dekrepid dangerous break wall a mile and a half out. Can only be safely fished on an east wind. We crushed em . I actually caught 5 on a Zara spook on top. Totally awesome.

The crazy! Part about it is the musky didnt know he was being caught on fishing line, and I didn't know there was a walleye on my hook, because the musky totally engulfed the walleye went berserk when I netted him then totally proceeded to spit the walter out of his mouth...

If Taylor Swift is the girl of his dreams, he needs to set his standards a bit higher lol. I've experienced situations using light-weight tackle and rods going after bass, only to have a huge pike come up and grab the thing. That's when it gets dicey because you don't want to tire the fish out. So you can either cut the line and take the loss or try land it as quickly as possible and hope the line don't break before you get the fish aboard.
