Jay-Z on the Water Crisis

Jay Z the rap star is a spokesperson for the UN on the world water crisis. He is taken to several schools and homes to see the local water issues. Its a great DVD to open the eyes of students, and motivational as well. AGE: middle school/ high school.

I incorporated your video clip into my lessons and with it, your message reached more young people. We had productive and empathetic discussions which moved and motivated my students. Your involvement in such a vital project gave greater perspective on real issues. My students came away with being able to read more closely, write more deeply, and allowed them to connect a real-life event outside the context of the text. Because of the water problem we developed a product for this daily major challenge. It could be really helpful for the inhabitants for reducing illness like diarrhea and back pain and more.

that was awful we need to make a change about this no one should deserve that everyone deserves to have water proper toilets education and so much more. we arent helping their government dont give a damn i want to help but im only 12 what can i do? how would i do it? it takes more than one person to make the world a better place but the world is cruel and some ppl in this world is cruel. all im trying to say is that we dont need to talk about it we need to change it

steward vincent. we need to care what if we were in there shoes we would die in a week cause we are spoiled while they made it year after year in the same condition. i know ppl who y ake out school for granted and it makes me mad bc we have a free education while they have to pay to go to school

People always whine about somthing soo small, and they're are people dying from dihreah and other diseases, Some people can just be disgusting! I would do everything to help them, and some people only care for themselves. :P Somthing so simple as water is somthing worth millions for them to have, makes me think when I let the water run when I brush my teeth...... :P
