I am amazed with the fact that I understood everything they were discussing. Two years ago I didn't even know how to use a EQ. Crazy how far we have come:)

Father in heaven, i pray that in 4 years year time, when i come back to watch this interview,i actually understand what they're talking about. Edit: Oh my God I forgot about this comment! How time flies! The simple answer is yes, I just rewatched this video and definitely understood most of what they were talking about. It's crazy cos I remember being mad confused the 1st time I watched this. I'm still learning new things everyday though. Thanks for the reminders!

I don't know how it is in the US but in the UK the BBC does a fantastic job of introducing new artists, they even have a TV and Radio channel dedicated to 'New Music'. Now, in some cases that will be established acts that aren't British but mostly its unsigned acts from the UK. How they get to hear about these artists is the key, you have to have some buzz around you from somewhere and it isn't going to come from just sending demos out. Like you say, you got to get out there and play!

Wow, young guru is an amazing teacher, I'm an engineer using music as as a way to understand applied electrical engineering. Thanks to everyone involved for making this and sharing their talents. Id like a video to learn more about African history from this guy too, he tracks the questioning mind well-- better than Sinatra man, a lot of the wisdom can be transposed and applied elsewhere.

Love it thanks but can you get more EDM Guys please. EDM songs always have like 90 mixer tracks, crazier effects and technique, cleaner more in your face mixes, and overall more technical knowledge of both production, mixing, and mastering. Afrojack or knife party would get your show millions of fans.

Great info in your video's. And respect for Young Guru sharing his knowledge. At the end at part 1 hé nails exactly my problem. I was always adding instead of removing in the low end to get more bass. But it always resulted in muddy blurry bass that didn't work and ruins your mix. Creating space makes sense mixwise because that's why it is called mixing. When a good mix goes to mastering the mastering engineer only needs to make small adjustments to make it really stand out.
