You have to admit to for many music is a way to express themselves... and also to "feed" themselves...Everybody wants to be the best... but, there is also the business side of ventures that become the goal... not necessarily the forefront...

Its amazing to hear this coming from a guy who once told Nas in their younger days “what you tryna kick knowledge?” …now at a later age he’s doing the type of message Nas did 30 years ago and still today.

He’s transcended his artistry, to make a song with Jay-Z it has to be some world changing type message vibe with a powerful meaning. He just doesn’t want to make music in a way the masses do, coz when he drops a verse the whole world will hear it. My question is, who is going to make the type of music he is talking about?

its kind of sad that when he says feed, alot of you thinks hes talking about money or him supporting him & his family… a part of me thinks he is talking about feeding his soul/spirit/ his brain. Rap is like a personal prayer/chant we (rappers) write to ourselves & then let other people listen to it to inspire/encourage them
