I think you should start the 2x stats on a payload map because payload is so much harder for the top 500. They have to push payload and kill. Control point they just have to cap and they can pressure off point and still gain objective progress

@@noclipended no. I’ve noticed it in all the top 500 vids that the 2x are on CP maps and it’s a lot easier. 2x on a payload map i think would be better. Then maybe 1.5 on CP if they win first match

I think the people saying that the bronze players arent bronze have prpbably forgotten that the bronze players are only playing against 1 player. Alot of aspects of the game are easier when you dont need to divide your attention between 5 opponents

The one big factor not controlled for in these is the game mode. You should do all control (easier for the GM->lower stats), or all payload (harder for the GM-> higher stats). Mixing the two makes it seem artificially like the stats are making the difference when, for example, I bet he would've failed 2x stats on payload. FWIW I'd say all capture point and lower stats would be more interesting, since the pure body advantage makes payload feel bad.

I’m relatively convinced the only bronzes in this video were the DPS. The tank and Supports were TOO aware and especially the Ana’s Sleeps and Grenades were wayyy too accurate, plus her positioning was pretty good. I say the tank is also smurfing because its like they knew their Ana was good, and spent the entire game only matrixing the Ana. Also with their Zen having the awareness to run and cap the point while the other four are fighting. Sus

I don't know about not being bronze but dps players tend to be the dumbest out of the three roles. If you have zero game sense or positioning as a tank or a support you're usually dead. And we did see the Zen keeping getting close even though he has no fall off damage.

As a Reaper main, this character sucks. 10 second ability with 2 second casting time, half the time it fails because placement is so strange. This character needs something new.

you should consider doing these games on 1 map type. KoTH and to a lesser extent control points in general are way easier for a single player to cap/defend compared to escort. maybe let the top500 pick.

What sucks is in some of these, this one and the Lucio one off the top of my head, the Bronze players have no clue what they're doing round 1, and play a bad comp. Then once Jay nerfs the Top 500 player for Round 2, the Bronze players figure out the best comp AND Jay moves to Escort/Hybrid maps which are way harder for the Top 500 regardless of how buffed they are. So when they get buffed back up to 1.75x stats, it's still super hard.

The thing with these is usually the tank is one of (if not the) biggest assets and choices for the bronze. On other heros, Orisa is usually a good play because her spear can shut down some very tricky abilities and she can stand toe to toe with the 500 and withstand them while the bronzes stack discord and damage. However in this case, the tank is actually one of the biggest detriments to the bronze team because theyre basically just a giant health pack, so the bronzes need to be able to melt the reaper BEFORE he gets crazy with the heals. Anti nade plus discord are definitely must picks here, but im honestly not even sure what tank would be a good pick here. Like DVA is okay with DM but as soon as it goes down shes just a giant crit spot. If she doesnt fall back

My favorite character is the reaper guy. he is very powerfull. special move, honestly is one of the best in the game and so he comes equipped with these two revolvers and only takes about 3 or 4 shots to actually execute a kill so it comes really in handy specially when you come from the side.

reaper self-heal ends up being quadruple buffed since both the damage dealt and healing received are doubled 💀 ig 1.5 buff would be 2.25x and 1.75 buff would be 3.0625x

The problem is the way reapers self heal works, the fact that he heals himself based on the damage he deals means that at 2x stats he technically has 4x self heal. His self heal is multiplied by both the dmg modifier and the healing modifier. So as the stats increase his self increases exponentially. 2x stats = 4x self heal 1.5x = 2.25x self heal 1.75x = 3.06x self heal At 2.5 stats he would have 6.25 self heal and at 5x he would have 25x self heal... I would love to see this one again but don't give him extra healing so the self is only affected by the dmg modifier.
