I really liked Jay picking out tricks the player was doing and giving his thoughts on what the line of thought was. I'd be interested in Jay spectating Emongg and explaining what he sees there, because Emongg's thinking and strategy is so insanely advanced that it looks like he's just existing most of the time, and you have no context of what the thought process is.

Emongg has very good positioning and is aware of how to get the most influence out of his hero. Emongg's timing is what does make him such a good player imo. Like the timing of his dva bombs, gravs, when he pushes forward or off-angles on zarya.

@@Siks7Ate9 having played against him earlier today, the scariest things about Emongg on Zarya are definitely his right clicks (he will spam you out from across the map constantly), his bubble timing (I would have a right click charged up as Zen and peak from outside audio range, and he would be able to consistently bubble anyone I hit based on sight alone), and his grave in general- there was one particularly insane one where he graved me while I was behind my Sigma’s shield. Emongg couldn’t follow up on it, but their Sojourn killed me using her orb thingy But I cannot emphasize enough- by far, the scariest thing about him was his right clicks. He is insane at hitting those from range

I feel like no one has more battle presence and knows the intricacies of other characters more than high level one tricks. like, should X character win against Y character? probably not. but they know EXACTLY how to create scenarios where they can win. I find it really interesting

They don't use ult for pogchamps, they save it for when the team needed it the most. Their patience and game sense are why they are rank 1, not because of being a Reaper... specialist. It just so happens Reaper is also really good, which definitely helps.

Well why am I not rank at MIN top 50? I feel my overwatch IQ is insanely high, and I’m not trying to brag but out of everything I’ve played and hell RB6 Siege being my all time favorite, I am a better OW player, and I feel my Mei gameplay and IQ against certain heros and just IQ in general is pretty high. But I some how still manage to not get out of silver. Explain to me friend. Explain why the ranking system is so off? I can solo queue siege to Diamond but can’t get gold in OW. Tell me why?

If you go to 5:00 you can see that he has observed dva continiously use matrix, holding it down for 2 seconds before he blossoms aswell. So he knows that she has no matrix, it's a free blossom. Only way he dies, can be to a rein charge.

Eh maybe. Dva was flashing it so some could have regenerated. She definitely used at least half of it though. But the big thing is that she got stunned and couldn’t use any of it. Ngl I expected better from a GM dva. I would imagine she knew he had blossom and should use matrix sparingly.

My favorite character is the reaper guy. he is very powerfull. special move, honestly is one of the best in the game and so he comes equipped with these two revolvers and only takes about 3 or 4 shots to actually execute a kill so it comes really in handy specially when you come from the side.

2:21 the animation cancel does not reduce the time until your next shot. The purpose is to get in a free melee without waiting EXTRA time like most characters. This is because reaper's ammo refills very early on in the reload animation

Tip with reaper: If you don’t have wraith available and you know the enemy is going to launch an attack at you, you can use shadowstep on the exact location your standing in. This is because when reaper uses shadow step, he gets invulnerability frames where he can’t be attacked. This isn’t the best though as it has a delay before the frames comes out but its really useful. I used this trick once when I was playing reaper. I saw a sigma coming at me so I ran but got cornered. I didn’t have wraith available so once I got stuck in a corner, I used shadow step in the exact spot i was standing. half way through the animation, Sigma came up of the corner and tries to use rock. I dodged it with the invulnerability frames while I was in the tp animation and for some reason killed himself with his spheres

I think to an extent, the team that you play against will always influence how skilled you are during a match. Sometimes I’ll get 50 kills and 18 deaths as bastions, and sometimes I’ll go 1 and 5. Your team and the enemy will make or break you, even if ur rlly good. It’s just how Overwatch 2 is. Also you can specialize in one character no one is gonna flame you for that, unless it’s like Sombra, cuz I hate sombra when I play bastion or reaper.

As reaper main i can say 2 things. 1st he play def so we want hold our ult to worst moment coz reaper ult can change whole fight and in defence kill 2 ppl for time is not worthy as be able to defence point on strongest push 2. most of ppl thinks about reaper as anty-tank champion but he is one of best assasins and best counters for champion like zheniata or widow killing them with 1 or 2 shoots coz ov hitbox are big asf so even with nerfed spray he still easly hit all bullets in small targets + funfact after tanks buffs reaper have big problems with tanks xD rein and winston beat his bald ass up but still great vs diva and wrecker

Reaper taking the orbs was one of the coolest features of the game. I used to TP left side volskaya map (sym attacking left side map spot)wait for cooldown then tp to hitscans on middle or onto a support and make a easy first point cap.

His aim doesn't seem much better than a gold/plat so I think it comes down to using the brains with reaper

I wouldnt say low skilled, you still have to hit center mass with reaper and it could be the difference between 2-3 shotting a squishy or 4-5 shotting a squishy. The only low skill heroes are sym, torb, and mei imo

Always uses TP to flank always use fade to retreat… outside of that their isn’t many other reasons to use them lol… it’s not smart it’s common reaper sense… rule for fade is only fade to save unless you know you don’t need it and want to burn a tank and not need to reload then you fade reload. TP is only used to reposition/flank… if your fading into enemies to kill someone well you know how that will end lol
